Reinier Haga Orthopedisch Centrum

Reinier Haga Orthopedic Center in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands, is one of the centers in the Netherlands experienced and specialized in RSA research, i.e. setting up RSA trials, performing RSA analyses and statistical analyses. We already started with clinical trials in the hip, knee, TMC and shoulder joint in the Reinier de Graaf Hospital. After our relocation to Zoetermeer and fusion with the Haga Hopsital, we continued our trials from June 2020 and onwards in the Reinier Haga Orthopedic Center. Currently, we manage several clinical trials with CT based or marker based RSA, as well as a combination of both to validate CT based migration measures, especially in the hand/wrist. Our trials are both self-initiated and supported by industry. Our interest also lies in applying other techniques, like fluoroscopy and 4D-CT to measure joint kinematics in the knee, hand and wrist joint. Currently, several PhD candidates and students are working on these topics within RSA research.
